Last
year the ConVault technical committee initiated a ranking system for
the precasting plants. The ranking system has been integrated with the
ConVault Quality Assurance Program to maintain the top quality product
expected from the leader of the aboveground storage tanks industry.
The ranking system requires the plants to be inspected and ranked in
various production fields such as steel tank inspection, wrapping, reinforcing
bar cage fabrication, concrete pouring, finishing, testing, and quality
control record keeping and documentation. Plants are graded in each
category and are ranked in accordance with their performance in each
field. The top three ranking plants will be distinguished and awarded
with trophies at the ConVault Annual Convention. This process has created
a friendly competition between the precasting plants to get the top
ranking position in the network and proudly display the trophy at their
own plants.

Rotondo, Telford, PA -- George L. Oritz, John A. Hunsberger, Ed

One of
the areas that the plants are ranked is the training and certification
of their employees who are engaged in production of ConVault tanks.
Under the ConVault certification process, the production and quality
control personnel are required to pass the ConVault certification test
with an 85% or higher grade. The personnel who successfully complete
the ConVault training and certification program are awarded certificates
of achievement. The certificates are personally signed and sealed by
the president of ConVault, Inc. The majority of the precasting plants
have certified their ConVault production personnel. ConVault is proud
of its affiliation with these groups of professionals who are dedicated
in the production of top quality product. Above and below are photos
received from precasting plants showing their employees during the certificate
award ceremonies.
