When Ultra Low Sulfer Diesel exploded due to a static spark in this aboveground fuel storage tank, the concrete shell of the ConVault absorbed the energy protecting the rest of the installation.
A high speed impact with this ConVault totaled this car, leaving the ConVault unharmed.

This 250 ton silo collapsed onto a ConVault. Thanks to ConVault's patented design, no fuel leaked. This was particularly important as an arc welder fire occurred next to the tank as a result of the silo collapse.

A warehouse fire occurred next to two ConVault ASTs. Firefighters actually used the tanks as a barrier position from which to battle the blaze. Although the metal buildings were consumed by the intense heat, the tanks were completely undamaged and remain in service today.

Flooding in an area containing some 3,000 ASTs resulted in dozens of UST wash-aways. ConVault Tanks survived without a single failure.

Seven crew members died in a dramatic, fiery crash of a C-130 Hercules. The fire could have been worse as the plane landed on an AST. Because it was a ConVault, the tank continue to supply fuel to a standby generator. The tank survived the incident.
